Privacy Policy

Information that stays on your device
Your library database, file paths, tags, ratings, Markdown notes, thumbnails, preferences, crash logs and license file remain in the Moxua Mark data directory on your computer. These contents are not uploaded to Moxua.
Information used for purchases
When you buy Pro, the payment provider processes your checkout email, order identifier, price, payment status and payment instrument details. Moxua does not receive your full card number. Your checkout email is used to deliver your license code and provide order support.
Information used for licensing
If optional online license management is enabled, activating or deactivating Pro sends the license code and a random installation ID to our licensing service. The installation ID is not a hardware or device fingerprint. No file name, file path, note or file content is included.
Update checks
If you check for updates, the app or website metadata may contact GitHub or moxuamark.com to retrieve the latest public version number. No library data is sent. Update checks are not used for tracking.
Third-party processors
金数据 and Paddle process payments. Cloudflare hosts the website and optional licensing functions. Resend delivers license and support emails. GitHub hosts public installers and release metadata. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.
Retention and security
Order and license records are retained only as needed for delivery, fraud prevention, refunds, support and legal obligations. License codes are stored locally using DPAPI CurrentUser encryption. Server-side order records use order identifiers and encrypted license records rather than plaintext codes.
Your choices
Offline activation requires no Moxua account and no licensing network request. You may ask for order support, a replacement code, or deletion of information that is no longer required, subject to transaction and legal record-keeping requirements.
